With a somewhat courser grind (50-55 on an xbloom), this roast is off the scales. Strawberry and rhubarb notes way up front. More subtle wine tones as stated in the bag. Worth your money.

Our roast rated 95 points by Coffee Review (August 2025). We love natural processed Ethiopia coffees and this is an exceptional lot from the renowned Worka Sakaro washing station in the Gedeo zone of Yirgacheffe. Along with 12 standardized washing tanks and 171 drying beds, Worka Sakaro has 2.9 hectares of land for coffee growing located at 1995m in the village of Worka Chelbiesa.
The smallholder farmers deliver their ripe cherries to the washing station where they are immediately hand sorted for quality and the best are taken to sun dry on raised beds for approximately 21 days. Worka Sakaro is known for their consistent very high quality.
Note: Since coffee is an agricultural product, subscriptions for single origin coffees may change based on availability. We always source similar taste profiles and notify of any upcoming changes.
*From April 1, 2026 through May 15, 2028, Magnolia Coffee Co. will donate $1 per each purchase made on magnoliacoffeeco.com to the V Foundation.
