Ordering & Shipping Questions

When do you roast?
We roast in small batches Monday thru Friday!
When will my order ship?
We roast and ship fast. Your order will ship by the next business day. Orders placed on weekends will almost always ship Monday—except some Sunday orders during holidays may ship Tuesday.
How can I track my order?
We'll keep you in the loop! You’ll receive email or text notifications after you confirm your order, once it’s fulfilled with your tracking number, when it's out for delivery, and when it's delivered.
What if I want to Pick Up my order from the Roastery?
You can do that—we'd love to see you! Select "Roastery Pick Up" at checkout. You’ll get an email after you order and another when it’s ready, usually the next business day. Orders after 12pm Friday are ready Tuesday.

Please wait for your "order ready" email before arriving. We roast and fulfill in the order received, and early pickups disrupt our craft.

Pick Up Hours: Tues–Thurs (10am–4:30pm), Fridays (10am–2pm). No same-day pickups, please.

Subscription Questions

How do subscriptions work and is there a discount?
You can easily create your subscription including any coffees*, any frequency, and any sizes.
*Note: Limited release microlots are not available for subscription.

Subscription orders receive a recurring 10% automatic discount.
Why can't I log into my account?
You may have created a subscription without actually creating a Magnolia customer account. That’s because we don’t require one to place orders. But if you didn’t create one when subscribing, you’ll need to do it now using the same email to manage your subscription.
How do I create a customer account?
Go to the “Shop” tab and click “My Account” on desktop or the person icon on mobile. Click “Create Account.”
If you forget your password, click “Forgot Password” to receive a reset link.
How do I manage my subscription?
Easy! Make sure you've created a Magnolia customer account using the same email or phone number tied to your subscription.

Then:
  • Go to the “Shop” tab and log in
  • Change your coffees, sizes, frequency
  • Pause your subscription for any interval
  • Cancel your subscription anytime—though we hope you don’t!
Reach out if you want to talk with a roaster about your subscription or try something new.
How do I change the frequency of my subscription?
Log in to your account from the “Shop” tab. Click “Manage Subscription,” then find your current subscription.
Under “Order frequency,” select “Change frequency” and choose a new interval.
How do I Skip, Pause or Resume my Orders?
We use Bold Subscriptions to manage subscriptions. Here’s how:

  1. Log into your Magnolia account
  2. Click “Manage Subscription” from the Shop tab
  3. Select the subscription you want to change
  4. To skip an upcoming order, click “Manage Upcoming Orders” and choose “Skip”
  5. To pause your subscription, click “Pause” and choose a resume date
  6. To resume, return to this page and click “Resume Subscription”
You’ll always have full control over when and how often your coffee arrives.
How do I Update My Billing/Shipping Information?
Log in to your Magnolia account, then:
  1. Click "Manage Subscription"
  2. Click “View Details” on your subscription
  3. Select “Address and Shipping Info”
  4. Edit your Shipping Method, Shipping Address, or Billing Address
  5. Click “Save Changes”
Future recurring orders will automatically use the new information.

Coffee Questions

Do you offer organic coffees?
We no longer subscribe to third-party organic certifications, and most of our smallholder producers don’t either. We buy based on quality and relationships—many of these farms practice sustainable farming without the added costs of certification.
Do you offer Fair Trade coffees?
We believe in ethically sourced, direct-relationship coffees. We often pay 3–4x more than Fair Trade minimums to ensure sustainability and quality—without the overhead of certification systems.
How should I store my coffee?
Keep your coffee in an airtight bag or container at room temperature. Our 12oz retail bags have a zip seal and one-way valve. Best enjoyed within 30 days of opening.

For 2lb and 5lb bags, roll and clamp tightly. For optimal freshness, transfer to a sealed container after opening.
How do I brew my coffee?
Start with a 1:16 coffee-to-water ratio for most methods, and 1:2 for espresso.

What is Coffee Review?
Coffee Review is the gold standard for blind specialty coffee reviews, using SCA protocols. They use a 100-point scale—92+ is excellent, and we’re proud of our many high-scoring coffees and being named a Top 20 Coffee of the Year three years in a row.
What do you recommend for super-automatic espresso machines?
We recommend our Dreamlands Blend! It’s a medium-dark roast that won't clog your machine, with a rich, smooth cup featuring notes of dark chocolate, caramel, and aromatic wood. Loved by café partners using similar equipment.
