This is a lovely coffee, definite chocolate and smooth finish. For me, it didn't have the full bodied "oomph" I was looking for. I went back to Magnolia and tried two others. The jury is still out since they just arrived.
My palate is one that very much prefers dark, rich, full bodied coffees devoid of fruitiness. I use a pour over preparation technique. With this in mind, I am not generally a fan of Magnolia's light and medium roast offerings. Among the dark roasts, Papua New Guinea Dark was my favorite. Dreamlands still retained a hint of fruitiness whereas Cashmere seemed over roasted. Corduroy had a decent flavor but not as distinctive as Papua New Guniea Dark

I spent a good portion of my life in the coffee business. At one point, I owned five coffee houses. So, I think I know a thing or two about coffee. Magnolia's coffee is outstanding. Every type of coffee that I have tried is superior. Right now I'm pulling Cashmere blend through my espresso machine. It's wonderful. Good job, Magnolia! Expect more orders from the Florida town of Ave Maria!
