So what if you took everyone (with any sense's) favorite Ethiopian natural, the glorious Durato Bombe, and kept it wonderfully juicy, but...
Made the wine notes a little drier (more Cab or Syrah, less Pino or Port).
Made the fruits less dark (more Strawberry/Raspberry, less Blueberry/Plum).
Made the acidity a touch more taut and electric, less plush and rounded.
That's it. That's the Keramo. The Bombe's less opulent but more crisp coffee cousin. You should meet her!
If you're looking for a true specialty brew that coffee normies will also enjoy, this Guate is a strong contender. It will stand out as something special. But the more arresting aspects -- sweetness, acidity, spice notes -- all turn into and smoothly meld with a clean and balanced profile, leaving enough complexity to calmly ponder, but nothing pushy, funky or overly intense.Energetic in a mellow way.
I have four other exceptional single origin iced coffee batch brews RTD in the fridge (incl Magnolia's awesome Keramo Natural) but sipping this right now as first cup and zero regrets.

I'm tough when it comes to coffee. This is the third one I tried from Magnolia. Third time is the charm! Liked it well enough to order 2 lbs. It's dark and rich with good body and not acidic.
