Magnolia Blend

Flavors are true to description; being medium roast I used less than a dark roast thinking there are more oils etc in medium dark roasts. Was disappointed with the first try as it was too whimpy. Next try at same amount as I normally use on dark roast worked wonderfully.

Unfortunately, one component of this blend seems to have been roasted too dark and can't be brewed at an ideal temperature for the rest of the beans without leaving burned notes in the drink. It's not egregious, but does noticeably detract. Overall, this one failure of quality control aside, the beans seem to be of good quality. I'll probably order it again in hopes that I can experience it the way it's meant to be.

We have been ordering from Magnolia Coffee exclusively, for at least 2 years. Never disappointed, we like to mix it up a little…always ordering the Magnolia Blend, and adding something different with nearly every order. We lean towards the medium to lighter roasts, however our sister visited us and she and her husband both loved the Magnolia Blend well enough to try their darker roasts. As far as we know, they have been fans ever since!
Our orders are always fresh, always timely, and always delish….plus there is always a nice little handwritten thank you in every order!

I’ve tried a lot of highly rated espresso beans. This is the only one I can drink and drink and still keep enjoying every cup. Thanks Magnolia. The care you put into your roasting ALWAYS shows!!
