We brought back this coffee for the first time in years due to the quality of this new crop. We taste ripe berries like strawberry, followed by plum with hints of baking spices like nutmeg. This coffee has a lightly sweet, lingering finish. It’s a natural processed coffee but not fermenty tasting at all — so it has some really nice characteristics similar to honey-processed coffees.

About the coffee Born from volcanic soil and shaped by resilience, Bali’s coffee story began anew after the 1963 eruption of Mount Agung. Government-led revitalization efforts in the 1970s and 1980s reignited coffee cultivation across the island, distributing seedlings to local farmers and laying the foundation for today’s flourishing industry. Bali now boasts approximately 7,500 hectares of coffee farms dedicated to quality and tradition.
At the heart of this production lies the Kintamani highlands, a dramatic volcanic plateau rising between 1,300 and 1,700 meters above sea level. Here, cool mountain air and mineral-rich soils produce exceptional coffees dominated by Bourbon and Typica varieties. Shade-grown beneath Erythrina, Albizia, tangerine, and orange trees, each harvest reflects depth, balance, and terroir-driven complexity.
Sustainability is not a trend in Bali—it is a principle. Pesticides are strictly prohibited, and all fertilizers are 100% organic, preserving both land and flavor integrity. Coffee cultivation is stewarded through the Subak Abian system, an ancient cooperative structure rooted in harmony and collective care. Thirteen Subak Abians currently oversee coffee growing and processing, ensuring consistency, craftsmanship, and community impact.
Note: Since coffee is an agricultural product, subscriptions for single origin coffees may change based on availability. We always source similar taste profiles and notify of any upcoming changes.

First off this coffee does not have the humid taste that I do not like with Sumatran coffees. Interesting flavor from an unusual terroir. Bright and enjoyable

I really enjoyed this one. This is going to sound like a weird description, but what I wanna say is this Coffee was “lip smacking good.”Another winner. Keep up the good work.
Hands down one of the best Costa Rican Coffee I’ve ever had nice light roast I highly recommend it great price wonderful coffee company I’ve had some of their other stuff as well and it’s excellent
The flavor notes on this coffee are fairly muted compared to other Ethiopian beans I have tried(from Magnolia & other roasters). Personally I prefer the more traditional berry-forward flavors from Ethiopian beans. Brewed with both Aeropress & Hario Switch.
Not only is this one of the best coffees I’ve had, the small business behind it is just as impressive. I stumbled on Magnolia Coffee while going down a Reddit rabbit hole, and their Jade espresso blend caught my attention. Turns out they’re highly rated and just two miles from me. Got a chance to talk to the owner and their master roaster. Great people and an even better product.

Delicious Coffee!
I love their Papua New Guinea single origins. It’s a delicious daily drinker. Makes a great French press, Iced Coffee and I’ve pulled excellent espresso shots with it too. Highly recommend.
