Our newest Guatemala offering comes from Huehuetenango, the highest growing region in Guatemala with farms reaching up to 2,000 meters. The elevation slows bean maturation, concentrating more sugars. Unlike Guatemala's volcanic regions, Huehuetenango sits on the Sierra de los Cuchumatanes, a limestone mountain range. This provides a different mineral makeup that contributes to its "cleaner" taste. The terroir is also impacted by the warm, dry air from the Tehuantepec plains in Mexico blowing into the mountains, protecting the high-altitude crops from frost and creating a stable microclimate.

The terroir results in a cup profile featuring clean, sugary sweetness (sugarcane, chocolate, caramel), dried fruits, and light citrus tones with a smooth, light-to-medium body that can sometimes feel buttery.

Note: Since coffee is an agricultural product, subscriptions for single origin coffees may change based on availability. We always source similar taste profiles and notify of any upcoming changes.

*From April 1, 2026 through May 15, 2028, Magnolia Coffee Co. will donate $1 per each purchase made on magnoliacoffeeco.com to the V Foundation.
