Chiroso is a rare high altitude Colombian coffee variety know for its intense sweet, floral, and citrus profile, similar to Gesha. Chiroso is a unique and mysterious variety originating from Ethiopia, yet still unknown how it ended up in Antioquia. This lot is quite different from our other current Ruby Reserves. We taste stone fruits like peach, nectarine & apricots and the natural processing is not overwhelming. The coffee has a nice milk chocolate background with a creamy body and juicy sweet finish
Finca Loma Verde is an award-winning farm at the Santa Bárbara Estate high in the Andes Mountains in Fredonia, Antioquia. Santa Bárbara was founded by Pedro Echavarría Sr. over 40 years ago. The Echavarría family has been in coffee for many generations and has become a pioneer in Colombian coffee with a vertically integrated farm, dry mill and export operations.
We first traveled to Santa Bárbara in 2018 to secure a long-term relationship for offering their naturally processed microlots. The combination of high altitude, volcanic soil, and growing expertise results in one of Colombia's best natural process coffees. The coffee is shade grown with a 20 year reforestation program to replant native trees in the farm.
Note: Since coffee is an agricultural product, subscriptions for single origin coffees may change based on availability. We always source similar taste profiles and notify of any upcoming changes.

Very pleasant and surprising floral notes. Using a v60, and 4 pours makes a great cup.

Outstanding as always!
My wife and I consistently go back to Magnolia for our coffee needs. This particular offering is excellent as a pour over bean(V60).

Disappointing brew
Indistinct aromas and amorphous flavors- completely forgettable

Not only is this one of the best coffees I’ve had, the small business behind it is just as impressive. I stumbled on Magnolia Coffee while going down a Reddit rabbit hole, and their Jade espresso blend caught my attention. Turns out they’re highly rated and just two miles from me. Got a chance to talk to the owner and their master roaster. Great people and an even better product.

Delicious Coffee!
I love their Papua New Guinea single origins. It’s a delicious daily drinker. Makes a great French press, Iced Coffee and I’ve pulled excellent espresso shots with it too. Highly recommend.
I really enjoyed this one. This is going to sound like a weird description, but what I wanna say is this Coffee was “lip smacking good.”Another winner. Keep up the good work.
